Intro to Rock Climbing Day Adventure

  • Mission Trails Regional Park 1 Father Junipero Serra Trail San Diego, CA, 92119 United States (map)

Price: $125 per person (or minimum of $450 total)

Join us for a one-day outdoor rock adventure that will inspire your soul, stimulate your mind and test your body.  This retreat is designed for the new and curious rock climber.  No rock climbing experience is required, although experienced climbers are welcome and are guaranteed something new and exciting.  We will be traveling to one of San Diego County's beautiful rock climbing crags (areas) where you will have the opportunity to 'learn the ropes' on real rock in a safe environment.  Of course part of the adventure is getting to the rock.  We will be hiking between 45-90 minutes over rugged terrain to access the climbs, all of which have amazing views of the surrounding mountains.  Our guides have over 15 years of climbing experience and are especially focused on safety and technique.  You will learn how to assess, visualize and overcome the climbs, while learning technical skills necessary to move forward in the sport.  We invite you to challenge yourself and join us for some extreme fun in a competitive-free environment.  Rock climbing is about support for your fellow climbers and trust in your partners.  Of course, there will be yoga involved as well as some stretching. You will need rock climbing shoes, a backpack, jacket, water, and lunch for a full day.  Be sure to have eaten breakfast as we will have an active day.  We look forward to seeing you soon.
